Description of the painting Bartolome Estebano Murillo Immaculate Conception

The Immaculate Conception is, if not the most important, then probably one of the most important points not only in the Bible but also in the Christian faith, as well as in many works of great artists, of which the famous Murillo is.

Proceeding from the Christian faith, the son of God is both completely deity and completely human. The beginning of Christ's earthly life begins precisely with the Immaculate Conception, which, apparently, very worried the artist, as he repeatedly returned to this topic. It is worth noting that several museums also have versions of this painting by the master.

One need only take a look at this work, it becomes clear why the artist was given the nickname "Raphael from Seville". Beloved wonderful visions, they look very bright and spectacular in especially large and voluminous compositions.

This type of religious painting is based on the immaculate conception of the Catholic dogma. But the image of the girl is directly connected with the Virgin Mary, which is found in Spanish cults, which is initially much wider.

In addition to Murillo, the theme of the Immaculate Conception was raised in their works, absolutely all the painters of Spain. But the pinnacle of the vision of this topic, recognized the work of Murigno.

In most of the works of the master, Maria, still very young, stands on the earthly sphere or on the crescent. She is easily extolled upward, surrounded by a large number of soaring angels, which are scattered around her, like divine garlands in a foggy darkened golden hue.

Primordiality, innocence, youth, and naturally the divine principle are the main theses of this work, which is capable of captivating even spectators far from church legends. It is amazing how fascinating and gentle the whole image looks surrounded by angels.
